 Dr. Deitz (Chiropractor)
I remember being in high school and walking from my school in Fargo to see my medical doctor (MD). I don't remember why my mother was insisting I go to see him, but I do remember I was kind of grumbling to myself thinking -- I'm just going to go in there. I'll tell him what's wrong with me. He'll write something on a piece of paper. Next thing I'll have to do is take some pills for something I'm pretty sure will get better on its own. Sure enough that's what happened. I tell this story because I never thought about being a chiropractor when I was in high school or even undergraduate school. Yet, when I look back I recognize I already had the belief system that matched that of chiropractic care.
Chiropractic philosophy says the body will heal itself of anything; you just need to make sure it has the proper lines of communication and basic nutrients to get the job done. It's a proactive approach to true health. I love the fact that I can educate our patients about true health and help them to lead a healthier, longer life. I want to help you with your arthritis, seasonal allergies, food allergies, chronic pain, chronic infections, addictions, diabetes, sleep disorders, upper respiratory problems, infertility, digestive disorders, fibromyalgia, etc. But I also want to give you information and tools to empower you to take charge of your health. Most patients are just as thankful for that as they are for the pain relief!
Dr. Andersen (Chiropractor)
Dr. Andersen severely injured his mid and lower back during a weight lifting accident his senior year in high school. He went to the hospital to get some relief and in the process was informed that there was nothing they could do and he would have to live with it the rest of his life.
One of Dr. Andersen's friends recommended he try going to a chiropractor. After a lot of skepticism, he decided to finally give chiropractic a try - he figured he had nothing to lose and was sick of being in constant pain. After only four months, Dr. Andersen was no longer in constant pain. After six to seven months he was pretty much all but pain free.
Dr. Andersen has continued to receive chiropractic care on a regular basis because he also noticed that he started having more energy, sleeping better, paying more attention in class, and getting sick MUCH, MUCH less often. Before receiving chiropractic care Dr. Andersen would be sick constantly, literally from September through May.
Now I'm able to go out and do the things I enjoy. I'm no longer sick. I
sleep better and I have more energy. It had such an impact on me I
decided to become a chiropractor, so I can help others.

 Jesse Wosick
(Certified BodyTalk Practitioner)
Jesse's interest in health began at an early age by competing in local sports such as baseball, basketball and football. These experiences instilled a solid foundation of health and it's importance not only in sports, but also daily life. With this perspective, Jesse majored in physical therapy at the University of North Dakota where he received his Master of Physical Therapy degree in 1997.
Jesse saw this as a way of incorporating exercise and wellness into the functional lives of the people he saw. As Jesse's experiences in healthcare grew - they also broadened - mainly into the Alternative and Integrated fields. With his first exposure to BodyTalk, he knew he had to be involved with this revolutionary new system. Since then Jesse has been concentrating on the study and practice of BodyTalk. Jesse also performs Functional Health Assessments in the clinic.

She's honored to help represent Wellness Dimensions and is excited to educate the public about non-traditional, more natural, paths to health and healing.
 Yvonne Hurkes
(BodyTalk Practitioner and Clinical Assistant)
Yvonne (Helbling) Hurkes, a native of the Bismarck-Mandan area, has been intensely interested in natural healing and alternative health modalities for many years. She believes that a person
must take individual responsibility for their health by living a balanced lifestyle: proper nutrition, exercise, restorative sleep, and healthy interpersonal relationships. She also believes part of that responsibility includes asking questions of health care practitioners; examining the ramifications of decisions regarding surgery and prescription medicines; and then proceeding on a careful path.
She has experienced first hand that alternative medicine, more times than not, can restore health and eliminate needless surgery. While she would never hesitate to undergo a life-saving procedure, she believes that a commitment to adopting alternative health strategies can result in enhanced restoration of body, mind and spirit: the treatment of the 'whole' person - something that many surgical procedures do not accomplish.
